Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Waterworks Labourer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of municipal water and wastewater systems. The successful candidate will work as part of a crew responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted water services to the community. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains, service lines, hydrants, valves, and sewer systemsPerform manual excavation, trenching, shoveling, and backfillingLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipmentOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyDirect traffic and ensure worksite safety in accordance with regulationsClean and maintain tools, equipment, and vehiclesRespond to emergency water main breaks or service disruptions as requiredFollow all occupational health and safety guidelines Qualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious construction or utility labour experience considered an assetAbility to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditionsKnowledge of safe trenching and excavation practicesValid drivers license Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shiftsStrong teamwork and communication skills Working Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather conditionsExposure to heavy equipment and traffic environmentsFrequent lifting (up to 50 lbs or more)Kneeling, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing What We Offer: Competitive wages and overtime opportunitiesComprehensive benefits packageTraining and certification opportunities Location Regina , SK Work location On site Salary $ 20.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible Source SaskJobs #1536920 Various locations Regina, SK
