As our project list continues to grow, we're looking for a confident and experienced Intermediate Interior Designer to join our studio on a contract basis. About the Role We're seeking a confident, detail-oriented designer with strong creative vision and technical skills who can take a project from concept through to construction documents with minimal oversight. The right candidate thrives working independently and brings a deep understanding of design, documentation, and project coordination. This is a contract, project-by-project role with real potential to grow into an ongoing position for the right fit. What You'll Do * Lead and support design projects from concept development through construction and permit drawing packages * Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure successful project delivery * Prepare and develop detailed drawing packages, material palettes, and concept presentations * Source and specify FF&E across projects * Contribute ideas and creative problem-solving throughout the design process * Attend site visits, coordinate installations, and ensure design intent is realized What We're Looking For * 3+ years of relevant experience in interior design, from concept through completion * Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop; experience with a 3D renderings * A portfolio showing work you drove independently, space planning and construction drawings, not just renderings * Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable running a site meeting or presenting solo * Exceptional organization and time management; able to manage your own schedule and flag issues early * Toronto-based, with a valid driver's license and vehicle for site visits * Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your piece of a project How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume and portfolio.
