*Overview* We are seeking a self motivated Bar Back/ Kitchen line cook to join our team as we head into our busy season. Friday and Saturday late shift availability is a must, with the opportunity to pick up kitchen shifts as well. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, along with a solid understanding of the food industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling. *Kitchen Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards * Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients * Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations * Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts * Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and spoilage * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods * Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies * Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment *Barback Responsibilities* * Clear tables and bar of glassware, dishes, etc * Assist bartenders in stocking/prepping of the bars * Help maintain a clean and sanitary venue * Support the bar during peak hours * Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the restaurant industry who thrive in team-oriented settings.
