Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Industrial. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Estimate costs and materials. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: To be determined.
