We are looking for a *reliable, professional, and safety-focused Delivery / Pickup Driver* to join our expanding team. Job Summary The Delivery / Pickup Driver is responsible for safely transporting cabinetry, millwork, materials, tools, and other company products between our facility, suppliers, job sites, and customers throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, customer-focused, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional driving record. This position requires someone who can safely handle and transport high-value, custom-fabricated products while ensuring they arrive on time and in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate company vehicles to complete deliveries, pickups, transfers, and material transportation. * Deliver custom cabinetry, millwork, furniture, materials, tools, and equipment to residential and commercial job sites. * Pick up materials, hardware, supplies, and products from vendors, suppliers, customers, and job sites. * Load, secure, transport, unload, and handle materials safely to prevent damage. * Inspect materials and products before loading and upon delivery. * Ensure all products are properly secured and protected during transportation. * Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes while meeting required deadlines. * Coordinate with project managers, production staff, suppliers, customers, and job-site personnel. * Obtain signatures, delivery confirmations, and other required documentation. * Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials immediately to the appropriate supervisor. * Assist with loading and unloading heavy or oversized millwork and cabinetry when required. * Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition. * Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after trips. * Report vehicle maintenance requirements, damage, or mechanical issues promptly. * Follow all company policies, traffic laws, health and safety requirements, and safe-driving practices. * Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when visiting customer residences, businesses, and construction sites. * Assist with general warehouse, material handling, and shop duties when not making deliveries or pickups. Driver Requirements * *Valid Ontario G Driver?s Licence ? mandatory.* * *Minimum 3 years of verifiable insurance/driving history ? mandatory.* * *Excellent driving record with minimal tickets, violations, or at-fault incidents.* * Must be able to provide a driver's abstract and meet company insurance requirements. * Previous professional delivery, transportation, construction, millwork, cabinetry, or warehouse experience is an asset. * Experience driving company vehicles, cargo vans, pickup trucks, or similar vehicles is preferred. * Familiarity with the GTA and surrounding areas is an asset. * Strong knowledge of safe loading and securing practices. * Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload cabinetry, millwork, materials, and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. * Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple deliveries and pickups throughout the day. * Professional and courteous when interacting with customers, suppliers, and job-site personnel. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Comfortable using GPS, navigation apps, mobile devices, and delivery documentation. * Must be comfortable working in construction and active job Location Oakville , ON Work location On site Salary $ 18.00 to $ 25.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10242084793 Various locations Oakville, ON
