Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tree and orchard fruit. Tasks: Mixing fertilizer. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Fertilize and spray crops. Apply fertilizers. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Sort fruits and vegetables. Pack fruits and vegetables. Type of crops: Apples. Orchard fruit. Type of heavy equipment operated: Loader. Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator. Tractor. Forklift. Planting equipment. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
