Full Stack Developer Company : MarkiTech Engagement: Part time contract Location : To be confirmed About the role: MarkiTech is looking for an experienced, hands on Full Stack Developer to help build and improve our healthcare software products. This person will work across user facing web applications, backend services, APIs, integrations and cloud deployments. The right candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of well scoped features, troubleshooting across the stack and working closely with product, QA and technical leads. Responsibilities: Build and maintain responsive web features using React, JavaScript and TypeScript. Develop and improve Node.js and Express APIs and backend services. Work with authentication, databases, file storage and real time application workflows. Integrate third party APIs and healthcare systems. Troubleshoot issues across the frontend, backend and cloud environments. Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate tests and documentation. Participate in code reviews and work closely with product and QA. Support staging and production deployments using GitHub, Docker and cloud platforms. Apply strong privacy and security practices when working with healthcare software. Use logs, monitoring and structured debugging to diagnose production issues. Required experience: Several years of professional full stack development experience. Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills. Hands on experience with React and modern frontend development. Strong Node.js, Express and REST API experience. Experience with authentication, database design and secure API integrations. Comfortable working with Git, pull requests and code reviews. Experience deploying and supporting applications in GCP, AWS, Azure or an equivalent cloud environment. Ability to work independently in a part time role and reliably meet agreed deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication. Nice to have: Experience with healthcare software, EMRs or other regulated products. Familiarity with FHIR, HL7 or healthcare system integrations. Experience with Firebase, Firestore, MongoDB, Socket.IO or Python. Experience with Docker, CI/CD, monitoring and automated testing. Familiarity with privacy and security requirements for sensitive data. Engagement: Part time contract. Weekly hours and working schedule to be agreed. Potential for additional responsibility as projects grow.
