Job Description Job Description Jr Accounting Clerk - Team Henderson Custom Crushing Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and maintain various reports and spreadsheets for management review Prepare and process weekly payroll Prepare remittances to CRA for payroll Ensure accuracy of financial records by reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other ad-hoc reports Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve accounting discrepancies Perform other duties as assigned by the accountant's office Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Quickbooks Online experience a must Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong time management and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
