Company: Thermo Cool Mechanical Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Thermo Cool Mechanical is looking for an experienced HVAC Boiler Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who is confident diagnosing and repairing commercial boiler and heating system breakdowns and can work independently in a fast-paced service environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial boilers and heating systems. Experience working on RBI, Camus, Raypak, LAARs and other major boiler makes Strong knowledge of hydronic systems Respond to emergency and scheduled boiler breakdown calls. Troubleshoot gas-fired and hydronic heating equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, controls, and combustion-related issues. Perform boiler start-ups, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend appropriate repairs. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals. Work with pumps, valves, burners, expansion tanks, heat exchangers, and related hydronic equipment. Complete service reports with clear and accurate descriptions of work performed. Communicate professionally with building operators, property managers, and customers. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures. Provide recommendations for additional repairs or preventative maintenance when required. Qualifications TSSA Gas Technician 1 (G1) certification required. Minimum 3?5 years of commercial HVAC/boiler service experience. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience with commercial hydronic heating systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot controls. Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Comfortable responding to emergency and after-hours breakdowns when required.
