As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring impeccably clean and inviting accommodations. While attention to detail is paramount, this role is equally focused on creating a welcoming environment for our guests through exceptional cleanliness standards. *Job Requirements:* * Perform a variety of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming * Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure overall tidiness of guest accommodations * Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, replenish amenities, and arrange towels * Remove used linens/trash from departed rooms * Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach to clean and organize various surfaces within the assigned area * Endurance to walk and stand for extended periods during a shift * Comfort with repetitive motions and tasks involved in cleaning * Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate * Work efficiently to meet established cleanliness and service standards * Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners * Ability to push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment as needed * Report any maintenance issues or damage in rooms promptly *Qualifications:* * Previous professional cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is an asset, but not necessary * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays * Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent observational skills * The ability to adhere to safe work practices * Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns * Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of the role * Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork * A sense of humour and a love for dogs *Benefits:* * Work with likeminded people who share your love of mountain lifestyle * Travel allowance for employees outside of Whistler * Extended health benefits * Health and Wellness program of $1200 a year, can be used for ski passes, gym memberships, sports equipment, etc. * RRSP matching program * Friends and family hotel discount at our sister properties in BC * Staff accommodation available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.17-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Commuter benefits * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * RRSP match * Vision care * Wellness program Application question(s): * Are you legally eligible to work in Canada?
