This role requires a strong understanding of lock mechanisms, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. *Duties* * Install, repair, and replace locks and security devices in commercial settings, particularly new buildings. * Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical locking mechanisms. * Provide consultation on security systems and recommend appropriate solutions to clients. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in locksmith technology. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while performing duties. *Experience* * Proven experience as a locksmith or in a similar role is preferred. * Familiarity with various types of locks, keys, and security systems is essential. * Experience using an Ohmmeter for testing electrical components is a plus. * Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity. * Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts if necessary. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
