*What is Savers Junction? * Savers Junction is a discount / liquidation warehouse store offering customers deeply discounted prices on a wide variety of brand name goods: Food, clothing, footwear, bed and bath, homewares, health and beauty and more. We use tables, racks, shelves, freezer/coolers and skids to display products in a warehouse style vibe. We are focused on giving our customers the best deal and the best service to match. *Overview* We are looking to find a highly motivated, fast pace Sales Associate who has relevant experience in retail sales. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of retail operations and well rounded in all aspects. Friendly, strong communication and helpful are all attributes required. The person should care, be engaged and thoughtful. This position offers a possible gateway to a keyholder, supervisory position or management. We are looking for an individual with open availability who is willing to work weekdays and weekends. This job physically requires constant moving, reaching and standing for a 7-9 hour shift of of work. *Responsibilities* * Maintain organized merchandise displays: tidying displays with a wide range of product categories and fixtures such as: clothing on tables or racks, skid displays of food, general products on shelves or tables, freezer/cooler food , hang-up products on slatwall hooks and bedding on shelves and tables * Merchandising new products (see above product categories and display types) * Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Assist customers with all inquiries related to products * Actively monitoring stock levels, product signage or any visible issues on the sales floor and either fixing or notifying management * Using the computer, label maker, printer and Microsoft programs to create signage for the store * Using manual or electric pallet jack to move skids of products as required * Friendly engagement with customers, but also quickly so as to complete tasks in a timley manner * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure a positive shopping environment * Communicate effectively with management to coordinate tasks and improve store operations * Cleaning washrooms and staff room as part of a team *Qualifications* * *Merchandising Experience required*: Cut case displays on skids, shelves or tables, folding clothing, arranging clothing on racks, organizing stock, slatwall displays, facing up products on shelves and tables. * *Retail Experience required* * *Strong communication skills *in English: Verbal and written * *Excellent customer service *skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele * *Organizational skills *to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation standards * *Cashier, POS and computer *skills required * *Pallet jack/pump truck experience* * *Fast paced completion of tasks* Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking * Store discount Work Location: In person Location North York , ON Work location On site Salary $ 18.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10240710995 Various locations North York, ON
