Jayne Industries Inc is currently seeking to fill another upcoming position as: _*Shipper & Receiver *_ In this role, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse environment. You will ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of our operations. * Coordinate daily delivery schedule for company driver * Create all mandatory paperwork for shipping/receiving for domestic and international shipments. * Effectively maintain total movement of inbound product. Includes overseeing the warehouse and yard operations. * Handling of shipments with utmost care for safe delivery to customers; Including, packaging, and labelling of completed orders. Attention to detail is a must. * Schedule rush pick up/deliveries efficiently. * Identify and resolve problem areas with incoming materials and equipment (i.e., incorrect quantities or damaged goods). * Assist in loading and unloading materials and products. * Ensure receipts are received promptly and delivered to production. * Report any discrepancies with the Purchasing Team immediately. * Control inventory movement and inventory stock levels. * Perform cycle counts daily. * Accurately identify materials visually and by product number. * Negotiate best rate and source delivery courier services. * Operate forklift truck to safely load and unload outgoing and incoming deliveries. * Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and weights during shipping and receiving tasks. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment and handling materials. * Other duties as assigned by management *Skills/Qualifications* * 3-5 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience including domestic and international logistics. * 3-5 years of inventory experience. * Ability to lift up to 50lbs. * Valid Ontario driver?s license for possible rush local pickup/delivery * Be a self starter, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Safe operation of an overhead crane * Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing. * Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse environment. * Ability to operate reach/forklift trucks or similar equipment safely and efficiently. * Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all shipping and receiving tasks. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-pace Location Hamilton , ON Work location On site Salary $ 22.00 to $ 24.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10240594065 Various locations Hamilton, ON
