*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this dynamic role. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following company standards * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions * Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products * Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards * Handle cash, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using basic math skills * Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation * Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner * Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor * Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus * Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally at all times Join our team to deliver quality beverages and memorable experiences to our guests!
