Visit our Careers page: _https://www.fujiya.ca/careers_ *Job Summary* As a Cashier at our Clark Drive location, you will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is vital in ensuring smooth store operations and fostering customer satisfaction. Bilingual skills and prior experience in retail or cashiering are highly valued but not required. *Schedule* Preferably full time. Shift times 10:00AM - 6:00PM or 10:30AM - 6:30PM (closing). Do note for part time we prefer full day shifts, between 2-3 days per week. *Pay* From $18.50 per hour. If you have previous cashier experience we can discuss a higher starting wage. *Duties* * Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner * Accurately and efficiently process POS transactions * Follow cashier procedures such as (but not limited to): daily opening and closing, float, employee purchases, customer orders, and coin exchange * Support with restocking * Perform inventory counts and inventory transfers * Follow proper merchandising standards * Greet customers and help with questions or requests * Follow and uphold store policies regarding returns, pricing, and promotions * Follow cleaning, receiving, and inventory policies and procedures *Skills* * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual abilities are a plus * Basic computer skills * Knowledge of Japanese food and products an asset * Physical ability to do tasks (including standing/walking, lifting and carrying up to 20LB, using hands/wrists) Pay: From $18.50 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Store discount Work Location: In person Location Vancouver , BC Work location On site Salary $ 18.50 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10239847155 Various locations Vancouver, BC
