Responsibilities: -Work on designated Orano mining projects as directed-Provide logistical and technical support for exploration/development programs:o Collecting and interpreting field data primarily related to the logging of drill coreo Entering data in project database ensuring accuracy, completeness, and thoroughnesso Assisting with daily core handling functions (measuring, sampling, photography, moving full core boxes, etc.)o Assisting or completing down hole probing data acquisitiono Providing, as required, written / oral presentation of results: maps, sections, tables, etc.o Supervision of geo-technicians Skills and Qualifications:-University degree in geology (B.Sc., M.Sc.)-4+years of experience in exploration-Professional Geoscientist designation or eligible for registration as P. Geo in Saskatchewan-Solid background in geology and structural geology-Experience in uranium exploration is an asset-Good computer skills are essential-Demonstrated understanding of the geology of prospects and deposits, with a discovery-oriented mindset and motivated to advance exploration opportunities-Ability to interpret and clearly summarize large amounts of data-Must be fit (physically and mentally) to work in remote locations with challenging terrain-Valid Class 5 drivers license-Experienced in the use of snowmobiles, ATVs or equivalent and four wheel drive trucks is an asset-Good verbal and written communication skills, sharing information with other mining team members-Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to challenging and isolated work environments Work Location & Schedule:-McClean Lake; fly in/fly out remote work site-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required-Occasional work from the Saskatoon Corporate Office may be required Location Saskatoon , SK Work location On site Salary $ 118,350 to $ 139,200 YEAR annually Terms of employment Term or contract Full time Starts as soon as possible Source SaskJobs #1538798 Various locations Saskatoon, SK
