The Genesis team members are mindful of and employ the ethical principles of two unique associations: The Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychometrists (OACCPP) and The Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRA). *What?s in it for you:* · Competitive wages · Flexible scheduling · Growth and developmental opportunities · Career advancement opportunities · Support and mentorship from our management team · Make a difference in someone?s life *Role description:* · Assist clients with returning to an optimal level of independence · Implement cognitive, physical and/or behavioural interventions · Work with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Senior populations · Work with various ethnic groups, and respect all cultural values and traditions · Provide support in a variety of settings including rehabilitation facilities and programs, hospitals, homes, school systems, workplaces and throughout the community. · Work under the direction and supervision of a regulated health care professional such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, etc. · Liaison with all members of treatment team to ensure effective service provision · Prepare and submit detailed progress notes and comprehensive progress reports *What we are looking for:* · University or college degree/diploma in a relevant field · Acquired brain injury, mental health and behavioural experience · Experience working under a Regulated Health Care team (minimum 4 years) · Enthusiastic and responsible workers · Excellent communication, organization and social skills · Current crisis intervention training (CPI, Safe Management, UMAB) · Current First Aid/CPR. · Current valid Police check/vulnerable sector screening. · Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle with ability to commute within your surrounding area. · 6A endorsement and 2 million Professional Liability Insurance coverage is essential · Fluency in a second language is an asset Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour Application question(s): * What is your current availability?
