pharmacy assistant

We are looking for pharmacy assistant with a passion for the profession of pharmacy to join our dynamic team. We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy committed to giving compassionate and personalized attention to each and every patient, to ensure they get optimal care. Responsibilities * Welcome patients in a professional and considerate manner. * Accuracy with prescription entry, filling and pick-up. * Respond to pharmacy telephone calls. * Receive delivery orders, manage inventory and ensure the rotation of medication according to expiry dates and established protocols. * Blister packaging * Shared cash till responsibilities. * Assist in opening and closing the pharmacy. * Comply with legal intervention limits regarding patients and confidentiality. Applicant Requirements * Pharmacy technical assistance vocational diploma. * Pharmacy experience an asset. Recent graduates welcome. * Experience with Propel Rx an asset. * Passion for the profession of pharmacy and patient care. Skills * High sense of customer care. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Listening and empathy skills. * Attention to detail. * Team spirit. * Able to stay up-to-date on their field of expertise.
