Job Description Job Description Job Title: Carts Co Worker (CAN) Location: Burlington Ontario CAN L7T 4K1 (JP00003794) Shift: 2nd Shift Daily Start Time (ex: 9:00 am): varied Daily End Time (ex: 5:00 pm) : varied Working Days (ex: Monday - Friday): Saturday, Sunday, Evenings Additional Shift Details: 1 to 2 shifts - 5:00 -9:30 Monday -Thursday 1 full shift on the weekend Sunday 12:00-8:00pm some occasional Saturdays. Hours Level: 12-20 hrs. Part Time Contract: 1 months (possible to extend) Payrate: 19$ /hr. on T4. Description: Maintain the flow of carts/baby strollers throughout the store to ensure positive customer shopping experience working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment where you will be lifting and moving items continuously Assist customers in loading merchandise into vehicles as efficiently as possible Ensure that the loading zone remains clear Maintain a balanced cart flow throughout the store/home delivery area Disassemble AS IS merchandise when required Assist customers with bringing merchandise to be returned Report inoperable equipment to managers Maintain outside area, ensuring it is fully stocked with twine, etc. Work closely with the furniture pick up and warehouse staff to ensure the integrity of merchandise pulls Use available resources to educate yourself on product features and customer interaction skills Contribute to an environment where the Company Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co workers and customers Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur Cart collection from outside parking lot(s) and corrals back into identified areas in the store (including stray carts outside of store exterior, e.g., other retailer's parking lot, side road, etc.) Removal of debris from carts Loading assistance every open hour Maintain loading zone cleanliness standards - responsible for notifying janitorial to clean Sort and separate damaged carts, store in quarantine area End-of-day/night round-up collection End-of-day/night expectation - all tasks completed, all carts put away \nCompany Description Software Galaxy Systems, LLC (SGS) is an award-winning Contingent Workforce Services firm providing a broad range of integrated suite of services through a global delivery platform.
