*Join Our Growing Eye Care Team* We are looking for a friendly, patient-focused Optometric Assistant (Lens Specialist & Frame Stylist) to join our growing practice. This position is being added to support the continued growth of our practice, particularly our expanding dry eye services and investment in advanced eye care technology. If you are passionate about customer service, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you. *What You'll Do* * Assist patients with selecting frames that suit their style, needs, and budget. * Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and products to help them make informed decisions. * Dispense and adjust eyeglasses to ensure an excellent fit and patient experience. * Perform frame repairs and adjustments as needed. * Perform visual field testing and other pre-testing as required. * Assist patients with contact lens insertion and removal training. * Support the optical team with ordering, receiving, and managing eyewear products. * Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and provide an exceptional front desk experience. * Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries. * Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as needed. * Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records. * Process payments, insurance claims, and other billing-related tasks as required. * Assist with patient recalls, follow-ups, and appointment reminders. * Maintain an organized and welcoming reception and optical area. * Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients. * Work closely with the doctors and team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. * Support the team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. *What We're Looking For* * Previous optical, optometric, retail, or customer service experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. * An interest in eyewear fashion, lenses, and helping patients find solutions that fit their needs. * Comfortable assisting with contact lens insertion and removal training. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * A team player who values collaboration and positive workplace relationships. * Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent patient care. * We value loyalty and long-term commitment and encourage applicants to include a cover letter outlining their interest in the role and what attracted them to our practice. *Schedule* This is a Full-Time opportunity (approximately 32 to 40 hours per week).
