ACS Valves has grown consistently over the years as a reputable manufacturer of Rotary Airlock Valves, which is why we?re looking to expand our assembly department. Direct experience with rotary airlock valves is not required, applicants with general mechanical abilities will be considered. *Job Description* * Align components for assembly or sub-assembly, by hand or with hoist, and bolt, screw, and rivet parts together, using hand and power tools. * Install bearings, seals, rotors, gearboxes, motors, guards, and other components. * Fasten or install wiring and electrical components. * Inspect, operate, and test completed machines, verify clearances are within tolerance. * Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or discrepancies. * Measure and verify parts to ensure proper fit and alignment * Cut material to size using templates. * Identify components and sub-assemblies. * Assist with rebuild disassembly and inspections as needed. * Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area. * Perform other related duties as assigned. *Qualifications/Requirements* * Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints and work orders. * Experience in a machine shop, auto shop or manufacturing environment. * Use of hand tools, power tools, grinders/belt sander, overhead hoist. * Can lift 25-30 lbs * Can lift, push and pull up to 25-30 lbs * Standing for long periods of time * Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. *Additional Details* * Standard shift, days only, Mon - Fri, 7:00 am ? 3:00 pm * Overtime available, OT after 40 hours * Healthcare benefits including dental. * Uniforms supplied.
