Nurse Practitioner (NP) ? Medical Aesthetics, Botox, Fillers & IV Infusion Therapy *Location:* Toronto, ON *Job Type:* Part-Time / Independent Contractor *Schedule:* Flexible; weekday and/or weekend availability *Compensation:* Competitive ? hourly, daily rate, or percentage-based compensation depending on experience About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, professional and highly motivated *Nurse Practitioner (NP)* to join a growing health, wellness and medical aesthetics practice in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in *IV infusion therapy, Botox/neuromodulator injections, dermal fillers and medical aesthetics*, with the ability to independently assess patients, develop appropriate treatment plans, prescribe when required, obtain informed consent and provide treatments within their professional scope of practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys autonomy, patient care and aesthetics and is interested in helping develop and grow a high-quality cosmetic and wellness service. Key Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories * Determine patient suitability and contraindications for cosmetic and wellness treatments * Develop individualized treatment plans * Prescribe medications and treatments when clinically appropriate and within NP scope * Administer *Botox and other neuromodulator treatments* * Perform *dermal filler injections* * Assess and provide *IV vitamin/hydration and wellness infusions* where clinically appropriate * Establish appropriate IV protocols, screening criteria and treatment plans * Provide consultations for cosmetic and aesthetic treatments * Educate patients regarding expected outcomes, risks, alternatives and aftercare * Recognize and appropriately manage adverse reactions and complications * Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation * Maintain appropriate emergency protocols and patient-safety standards * Follow all applicable *College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)* standards, legislation, infection-prevention requirements and professional guidelines * Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance * Help establish clinical protocols, consent forms and treatment standards for the aesthetic and IV program * Contribute to developing and growing the medical aesthetics and wellness division Qualifications *Required:* * Current registration in good standing with the *College of Nurses of Ontario as a Nurse Practitioner* * Legally authorized to practise as an NP in Ontario * Ability to independently assess, diagnose and prescribe within the NP's authorized scope of practice * Demonstrated competence in the clinical services being provided * Current professional liability protection/insurance appropriate to the role * Excellent patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills * Strong understanding of emergency management, infection prevention and informed consent * Current BLS/CPR certification *Strongly Preferred:* * Previous experience with *Botox/neuromodulator injections* * Previous experience with *dermal fillers* * Previous experience with *IV therapy and IV infusions* * Formal training/certification in medical aesthetics and injectable treatments * Experience managing complications associated with cosmetic injectables * Experience in private medical, wellness, dermatology, plastic surgery or medical aesthetics clinics * Interest in helping build and grow an aesthetic/wellness practice Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: * *Independent and clinically confident* * Highly professional and dependable * Experienced and technically skilled with injectables * Excellent at communicating with patients * Safety-focused and meticulous * Warm, personable and able to create an exceptional patient experience * Comfortable working in a premium private-practice environment * Entrepreneurial and interested in growing a long-term aesthetics and wellness program * Able Location Toronto , ON Work location On site Salary $ 42.21 to $ 99.38 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Part time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10239620954 Various locations Toronto, ON
