excavator operator

Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for experienced *excavator* operator for *nightshift *on a pond project located approx 1.5 hrs NW of Whitecourt. Work contract approx 1 months long. Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures. *Work Details* * 11 hrs/shift + 1.5 hr of drive time, * 7 days a week, long weekends off (4 days), * Hotel/LOA available, * Transportation provided to and from work. *Excavator Scope of Work:* * Minimum *4* years of excavator experience, * Production loading rock trucks, shaping berms, * Working around other heavy equipment & ground personnel. * Complete walk arounds, * Fuel and grease own machine. _*PPE Requirements*_ * Steel toed boots, * High visibility safety vest, * Safety glasses, * Gloves.
