As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. * Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment, to ensure a safe and pleasant environment. * Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, following all food safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. * Stay informed about menu items and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Barista is required. * Familiarity with cashiering practices and basic math skills for handling transactions. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. * Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
