KCDA is seeking a relationship-focused Career Program Coordinator to support job seekers, build employer and community partnerships, connect people with opportunities, and document referrals and outcomes. This frontline role balances participant support, employer engagement, events, records and reporting. What you'll do: Assess participant strengths, employment readiness, barriers and career goals, and develop practical next steps. Help with resumes, applications, interviews, job leads, and referrals to employment, training and other services. Build employer relationships, identify workforce needs and opportunities, and promote KCDA services and the Northern Talent Pool. Match job seekers with suitable opportunities and follow up with participants and employers. Plan and deliver workshops, information sessions, career fairs, recruitment events and community employment initiatives. Connect participants with education, training, financial supports and service providers, including supports for youth. Build relationships with northern communities, schools, post-secondary institutions, Indigenous organizations and other partners, and support the Northern Labour Market Committee where assigned. Maintain accurate participant, employer, referral and follow-up records; track outcomes and deadlines; and identify concerns early. What we're looking for: A strong service mindset and ability to build trust. Clear, professional communication. Organization, sound judgment and reliable follow-through. Ability to work independently and contribute to a small team. Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, workforce development in northern Saskatchewan. Relevant experience in employment services, community programming, education or training, employer engagement, or a related field is preferred, not required.
