We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team (We would also consider a fourth year apprentice). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong diagnostics and trouble shooting abilities are highly valued. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine diagnostics, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently. * Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. * Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major repairs. * Provide detailed notes on work orders explaining findings and/or repairs conducted. * Maintain a clean workspace. *Experience* * Proven mechanical experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks. * Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, diagnostics, and maintenance protocols. * Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. * This position requires a motivated individual committed to quality workmanship and continuous learning within the automotive industry.
