Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Administer eye drops, ointments and medications as directed by ophthalmologists. Assist health care professionals. Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments. Schedule and confirm appointments. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history. Organize and maintain inventory. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Ability to work independently. Personal suitability: Client focus. Initiative.
