This is a stable,year-round plant position with no camp rotation or out-of-towntravel. You willtroubleshoot and maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulicand pneumatic equipment in a large productionfacility. REQUIREMENTS AlbertaJourneyman orInter-Provincial RedSeal Certification 2+ (two)years of recent work experience in the trade and/or foodindustry. Physically capable of performing thetasks attached to your job duties. Available towork evening shift 14:00-23:30 Ability to read,write and communicate in English while following written and verbalinstructions. JOBDUTIES AND TASKS Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams,and schematic drawings to determine workprocedures. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshootmechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identifymalfunctions or irregularities. Adjust, repair,or replace defective parts and components, such as bearings,shafts, seals, and valves, ensuring compliance with production andsafety standards. Operate machine tools tofabricate replacement parts needed during maintenance, overhaul, orsetup of equipment. Perform preventive andpredictive maintenance on machinery used in meat processing,including slicers, grinders, mixers, conveyors, and vacuumpackaging systems. Use lockout/tagout (LOTO)procedures and adhere to all company safety policies and foodsafety protocols during maintenance and repairactivities. Collaborate with production andsanitation teams to coordinate equipment repairs and ensure timelystart-up of operations after maintenance. Testand calibrate equipment after installation or servicing to verifyoperational efficiency and safetyperformance. Respond to emergency breakdownsand perform corrective actions to reduce productioninterruptions.
