Job Description We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Millwright to install, align, troubleshoot, and maintain complex industrial machinery and production equipment. Utilizing technical schematics and precision tools, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues, and fabricate components to minimize facility downtime. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Base wage: $32.00 - $40.00 / hour Location: 400 Highway 6 N, Dundas, ON L9H 7K4 Date Posted: July 17, 2026 Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): Replace defective parts of machine, or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts Align machines or equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, micrometers Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts Conduct preventative maintenance and repair, and lubricate machines and equipment Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and lift trucks Lay out mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drill holes with power drill Attach moving parts and sub-assemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment or machinery Troubleshoot equipment, electrical components, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems Connect and evaluate mechanical operation of production equipment Use blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Fabricate and dismantle parts, equipment, and machines, using a cutting torch or other cutting equipment Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel Inventory and store parts, tools, and equipment Key Skill Requirements: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and diagrams Skilled with tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and levels Capable of assembling, aligning, and installing machinery and heavy equipment Proficient in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components Understanding of fluid and air-powered systems and how to maintain or repair them Ability to diagnose basic electrical issues and repair/replace parts Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine practical repair solutions Ability to understand manuals, safety procedures, and complex documentation Skilled hand-eye coordination for precision work with tools and small parts Able to lift heavy components, stand for long periods, and work in physically demanding environments Effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well and communicate in a team setting Manages priorities to minimize downtime and complete repairs efficiently Key Experience/Education: Red seal in Millwright preferred Completion of post-secondary program in Millwright preferred<br Location Hamilton , ON Work location On site Salary $ 32.00 to $ 40.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source Talent.com #628543834647036929 Various locations Hamilton, ON
