The Compounding Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations and long-term objectives of the Compounding Department. This role provides leadership, direction, and technical guidance to production teams while ensuring all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee compounding, processing, pre-weighing, and inventory control operations, ensuring efficient use of personnel, materials, equipment, and resources. This position is also responsible for developing team leaders and staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing departmental performance metrics, and supporting a culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence. In addition, the Compounding Production Supervisor will lead investigations into non-conformances and deviations, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective actions are implemented. The role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to employee development, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments to support organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all daily compounding, mixing, processing, pre-weighing, and inventory control activities. Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and production schedules. Monitor and improve departmental performance metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, batch performance, and cost control. Conduct and support investigations related to deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees, team leads, and supervisors. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, workplace safety, and operational excellence. Support regulatory audits and customer inspections while maintaining audit readiness. Collaborate with Planning, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and successful project execution. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the integrity of the quality management system.
