*Job description:* Pet Groomer Wanted ? Join The Bone & Biscuit Co. Family! Do you love pets, bubbles, and making pups look their absolute best? We?re looking for a _confident, skilled and self-motivated _*Pet Groomer* to join our team! We have an established grooming clientele and a growing grooming department, and we're looking for the right person to help us build on that foundation. *What the role looks like:* * Step into an established clientele with existing grooming appointments. * Provide professional bathing, brushing, nail trims and full grooming services according to your experience and skill set. * Build and develop your *own repeat clientele* within our store. * Work independently within the grooming space while being supported by our store team for scheduling and day-to-day administrative tasks. * Start on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to *grow your schedule and clientele over time*. * Opportunity for an ongoing position as our grooming department continues to grow. *What we're looking for:* * An experienced groomer who is confident working independently. * Someone who takes pride in the quality of their grooming and genuinely cares about the animals in their care. * Strong handling skills and the ability to create a calm, positive grooming experience. * Professional and friendly communication with pet parents. * Reliable, organized and able to manage appointments efficiently. * A team player who is also comfortable taking ownership of their grooming appointments and clientele. * Experience with a variety of breeds and grooming needs is an asset. *What we offer:* * *Established clientele* ? you won't be starting from scratch. * Flexible scheduling with the opportunity to increase hours as your clientele grows. * Commission-based compensation. * A supportive, pet-focused workplace. * The opportunity to build a loyal client base within an established local pet store. * Potential for an *ongoing position and continued growth* within our grooming department. * Store discount. * On-site parking. *Requirements:* * Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience preferred. * Grooming certification or demonstrated professional grooming experience. * Ability to safely and confidently handle dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments. * Photos/portfolio of grooming work are strongly encouraged. *How to apply:* Send us your resume and, if available, photos of your grooming work.
