We are looking for a *passionate and reliable kitchen team member* who enjoys working with food and wants to grow in the restaurant industry. Our Chef is also happy to train candidates who are currently enrolled in a *culinary program at a community college*. Responsibilities * Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. * Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures at all times. * Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure consistently high-quality meals. * Keep the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and food-service areas clean and organized. * Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide an excellent guest experience. * Maintain appropriate food and supply levels and assist with inventory and ordering when needed. * Follow kitchen procedures and help maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. Qualifications * At least *2 years of cooking experience* in a restaurant or food-service environment. * Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and proper handling practices. * Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. * Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and day-to-day kitchen operations. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. * Experience working in a customer-focused food-service environment is an asset. * *Culinary students currently enrolled in a community college program are encouraged to apply.* Training may be provided to the right candidate.
