This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. *Responsibilities* * Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children. * Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. * Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's individual needs. * Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities. * Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and classroom strategies. * Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored assistance. * Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards. * Utilize computer skills for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes. * Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant staff or volunteers when necessary. * Manage time efficiently to balance lesson planning, classroom supervision, and administrative tasks. *Qualifications* * Valid certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). * Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly preferred. * Experience working with children in early childhood settings; classroom experience is advantageous. * Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education best practices, and special education needs. * Strong communication skills?both written and verbal?and excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities. * Computer literacy for documentation, planning, and communication purposes. * Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective time management skills. * Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for early childhood education and child welfare.
