*Automotive Service Technician 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice* Speedy Auto Service -Waterloo, ON Full-time, Position Speedy Auto Service Waterloo has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. If you have a passion for cars, and you are looking for a long term position to grow with a well established company. Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license. This is also a hands-on position. You must like working with customers, staff and working on cars. It is a fast-paced environment. _*We offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to grow with our company*_ *Job Description...* * Understand all aspects of the Service Operation * Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned * Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required * Assist Technicians, as required * Maintain High level of Customer Service and Satisfaction * Assist with Technical issues as needed * Maintain a safe and productive working environment * Perform Tire Rotations, mount and balance and repair of tires. * Drain and fill, flush fluids using specified fluid grades upon request. * Clean or replace batteries upon request. * Replace air, cabin air and fuel filters upon request. * Complete reports to record problems and work performed. * Maintain a clean and safe upper and lower bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing. *REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:* * Some prior experience in an automotive environment is required * Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner * Ability to pay attention to detail * Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations * Valid G License with a clean driving record * Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills * Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * automotive technician: 2 years (required) * shop: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Drivers License (required) Work Location: In person Location Waterloo , ON Work location On site Salary $ 20.00 to $ 28.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10225153404 Various locations Waterloo, ON
