The Software Platform organization develops the foundational software systems, infrastructure, and tooling that support Nord Quantique?s research, device operation, and broader software ecosystem. Spanning multiple software teams and technical domains, the organization plays a central role in connecting research, hardware, infrastructure, and applications while laying the foundation for future customer-facing products. The Head of Software Platform will guide the long-term evolution of both the organization and the platform itself, working closely with technical leadership across the company to ensure alignment, scalability, and sustainable execution in a rapidly evolving R&D environment. While a strong software engineering background is important, this role is primarily about organizational leadership, technical strategy, and cross-functional coordination. We are looking for someone who can empower technical leaders, build high-performing teams, and help unify the technical direction of a growing software platform organization. The Head of Software Platform will provide leadership at multiple levels: Within the organization ? supporting team leads and technical leaders in building effective, collaborative, and resilient software teams; Across Nord Quantique ? aligning software strategy and priorities with evolving company needs and long-term roadmap objectives; Outside Nord Quantique ? cultivating strategic relationships with external collaborators, research partners, and technology providers.
