Specializing in research and development of UVLED energy curing coatings, our goal has been to provide clients with high quality products and the tools and support to excel in the professional beauty industry. As the professional nail industry progresses, Haigh Industries is dedicated to continually raise its already high standards and remain a driving force in the development of new and innovative products. We are currently seeking a full time Packaging Associate (Mon-Fri 8:30 am -5:00 pm) to join our team to meet the growing demand in the industry. This role is essential in safeguarding the quality of our finished goods and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to accuracy in handling and packaging cosmetic products. Responsibilities * Set up manufacturing equipment for daily use * Maintain equipment and machinery so they can operate safely * Accurately fill nail gel and nail care products (5mL?500mL) using either a filling machine or manual methods. * Operate, clean, and maintain packaging equipment to ensure efficient production. * Inspect products for quality assurance, ensuring correct fill levels, consistency, and labeling. * Properly seal, cap, and label finished goods according to company standards. * Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold hygiene and safety regulations. * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality control guidelines. * Assist with inventory tracking, including counting and reporting packaging materials. * Identify and report any production or quality issues to the supervisor. * General house keeping Qualifications *Familiar with good manufacturing practice (GMP)* * Previous experience in machine operating, packaging, or manufacturing is a plus but not required. * Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. * Comfortable operating machinery and performing repetitive tasks. * Strong commitment to accuracy and quality control. * Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures. * Good teamwork and communication skills. * Ability lift objects up to 15kg. *Benefits After 6 months probation period* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: * Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Location Burnaby , BC Work location On site Salary $ 19.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10224964379 Various locations Burnaby, BC
