*Position Summary:* We are seeking a responsible, dedicated and experienced House Manager to join our private household in Grimsby, Ontario. This role involves managing daily household activities and providing occasional high-quality childcare for up to 3 children aged 4-9 years old. The House Manager will be responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping, and ensuring the children's overall well-being. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and healthy environment for the family. *Responsibilities:* * Providing attentive after-school care and supervision for children. * Preparing nutritious meals for the children and family * Grocery shopping and running errands for the family * Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties * Working with the family to ensure all things in the home run smoothly * Organizing engaging activities such as reading, crafts, and games * Ensuring the general upkeep of household chores, such as laundry * Performing other duties as required *Qualifications:* * Proven experience working with children * A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or in progress) or equivalent is an asset * Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children * Basic cooking skills and an understanding of nutrition * High level of discretion and confidentiality * Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation * Clear background check or willingness to obtain prior to employment * Valid First-Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs * Strong references required *Schedule: *10-15 hours per week.
