*Dance Instructor (Saturday Classes)* *Company Description* Peak Dance Company is an inclusive and growing dance studio located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, proudly entering our 5th season. At Peak Dance Company, community is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to build a welcoming, supportive studio where students, families, and staff feel valued. We know that a great dance studio is built by a passionate and dedicated team, and we are looking for instructors who share that vision. *Job Description* Peak Dance Company is seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Dance Instructor to teach Saturday classes during our 2026?2027 season. The successful candidate must have previous dance training and experience in Tap, Jazz, and Beginner Acro and be confident teaching these styles to children of various ages and skill levels. We are looking for an instructor who is energetic, professional, organized, and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. *Required Qualifications* * Previous dance training and experience in Tap, Jazz, and Beginner Acro * Strong technical knowledge and the ability to safely teach proper dance technique * Experience working with children in a teaching, coaching, mentoring, or leadership setting * Excellent organization and time management skills * Professional, reliable, and punctual * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Positive, encouraging, and team-oriented attitude * Acrobatic Arts certification or training is considered an asset *Responsibilities* * Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled classes * Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate classes in Tap, Jazz, and Beginner Acro * Provide safe, constructive, and positive instruction while encouraging each dancer?s individual growth * Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued * Choreograph routines for the year-end recital * Assist with recital preparations, rehearsals, and performances * Communicate professionally with studio staff and families as needed * Represent Peak Dance Company in a professional and positive manner If you are passionate about dance, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of a supportive and growing studio community, we would love to hear from you.
