We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional to join our team as a *Residential HVAC Warranty & Commissioning Technician*. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in residential HVAC installation who is ready to take the next step into the *service, troubleshooting, controls, and commissioning side of the industry*. This is not a basic installation position. The successful candidate will need a well-rounded understanding of modern residential HVAC systems, duct design, airflow, controls, and new-home construction. What You'll Be Doing As an HVAC Warranty & Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, adjusting, repairing, and commissioning HVAC systems in newly constructed homes. Your responsibilities will include: * Troubleshooting furnaces, HRVs, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment * Diagnosing airflow, comfort, noise, and system performance concerns * Balancing residential HVAC and ventilation systems * Testing and adjusting system airflow * Performing ductwork modifications and repairs * Wiring and setting up residential zone control systems * Troubleshooting thermostats, controls, dampers, sensors, and related components * Commissioning HVAC systems and verifying proper operation * Assisting our finals teams when technical challenges arise during system startup and completion * Identifying installation or duct-design issues and determining practical solutions * Completing warranty repairs in finished homes * Working with homeowners to explain the operation of their furnace, HRV, thermostat, zoning, filtration, and ventilation systems * Providing professional new-home HVAC walkthroughs and answering homeowner questions * Documenting deficiencies, repairs, adjustments, and completed warranty work Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate has a *well-rounded background in residential HVAC* and understands how all parts of the system work together. This role can be an excellent progression for an experienced installer who has developed a strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and wants to move into *diagnostics, commissioning, warranty, and service work*. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role We're looking for someone who doesn't just know *how to install HVAC equipment*, but understands *why the system works the way it does*. You should be comfortable looking at an HVAC problem, working through the system logically, identifying the cause, and finding a solution. Because much of the work takes place in completed homes, professionalism is also extremely important. You will regularly interact directly with homeowners and represent our company while diagnosing concerns, completing repairs, and explaining how their home's HVAC system operates. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting, wants to continue developing their technical abilities, and is interested in building a long-term career on the *service and technical side of the HVAC industry*.
