About the Role Starise Lighting is looking for an organized, proactive *Installation Project Manager* to oversee the day-to-day coordination of our permanent lighting installations. This role acts as the bridge between our customers, sales team, installers, and suppliers. Once a project is sold, you?ll help take it from the scheduling stage through installation and customer handoff. We're looking for someone who can stay ahead of multiple projects at once, communicate professionally with customers, and make sure our installation crews have everything they need before arriving on site. Key Responsibilities * Schedule and coordinate customer installations and installer availability. * Manage the installation calendar and make adjustments due to weather, delays, customer requests, or crew availability. * Contact customers before installation to confirm dates, project details, and expectations. * Review each project's scope of work before scheduling the installation. * Confirm *track colours, track types, controller locations, installation areas, and other project-specific requirements* with customers. * Coordinate and prepare materials required for each installation. * Ensure installers have the correct lights, track, controllers, wiring, hardware, and other materials before leaving for a job. * Communicate project details and special instructions to installation crews. * Track installation progress and ensure projects are completed according to the agreed scope. * Assist customers with downloading, connecting, and learning how to use their lighting app. * Troubleshoot basic app, Wi-Fi, controller, and connectivity issues with customers. * Coordinate return visits, service calls, deficiencies, and warranty work when required. * Maintain accurate customer and project information within our CRM. * Communicate with sales representatives when project information is missing or requires clarification. * Follow up with customers after installation to ensure everything is operating properly. * Help continuously improve our installation and scheduling processes as the company grows. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is *extremely organized and comfortable taking ownership of projects*. You don't necessarily need experience with permanent lighting, but you should be comfortable learning technical products and working with both customers and tradespeople. You should have: * Strong organizational and scheduling skills. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple installations and priorities simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail. * Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, calendars, and CRM software. * Basic understanding of construction, electrical, exterior home improvement, or field-service operations is an asset. * Ability to troubleshoot basic technology and explain it clearly to customers. * Ability to identify potential problems before they affect an installation. * A valid driver's licence is preferred. What Success Looks Like A successful Project Manager ensures that *before an installer arrives at a customer's home, the crew knows exactly what they're installing, the correct materials are ready, the customer knows when we're arriving, and there are no surprises.* After installation, you make sure the customer understands their system and that any outstanding issues are followed through until they're resolved.
