Our shop is a modern 15000 sq/ft facility, we work on a full digital platform with two fulltime parts personal to assist and service writer. About the Opportunity: NCCHD is currently seeking a 4th year or Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic or truck and transport Technician for our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location. This position is part of our busy Service and Installation Shop and responsible for: Performing maintenance, repairs and testing on our customers various types of equipmentAble to handle multiple jobsCompleting some minor fabrication workPerforming other duties as requiredRed Seal Certification as a Heavy-Duty Equipment or truck and transport Technician / MechanicSome experience with welding or willingness to assist or learnHydraulic and electrical experience and knowledgeSolid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematicsThe ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipmentExcellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a teamThe ability to work independentlyYour own tools (we also have shop tools)A Class 5 drivers licenseOur operating hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
