Rural Area.Wage: $39.50/hourEducation: High SchoolExperience: 3-5 yearsBenefits: Health benefits after three monthsDuties:-Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, repair, overhaul and testing of agricultural equipment and machinery.-Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.-Repair, hydraulic systems, steering, brakes and other equipment components.-Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer specifications to identify and resolve equipment issues.-Install, assemble, adjust and replace equipment components as required.-Complete welding and fabrication of new equipment, components and custom assemblies.-Perform welding and fabrication of new equipment, components and custom assemblies.-Perform in-season emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.-Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.-Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records.-Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment-Communicate equipment issues and repair needs with manangement.Employment Requirements:(Employee is required or willing to obtain the following)-Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 is considered an asset)-First Air Certificate-Willingness to work weekends during the busy season and occasional weekends during the shipping season.-Employees are responsible for providing their own steel-toed boots and coveralls.Please send resume with cover letter and working references by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION.
