construction project coordinator

Spark Construction Company is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented *Project Coordinator* to support our commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction coordination, permitting, scheduling, and communication with consultants and contractors. Responsibilities * Coordinate construction projects from planning through completion. * Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking. * Communicate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government departments. * Coordinate permit applications, inspections, and project documentation. * Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, quotations, and project reports. * Review construction drawings and specifications. * Coordinate purchasing and delivery of construction materials. * Maintain organized project files and documentation. * Visit construction sites as required to monitor progress and resolve coordination issues. * Perform other project-related duties as assigned. Qualifications * Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related field. * Previous construction or project coordination experience is preferred. * Ability to read construction drawings. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. * Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software is an asset. * Valid BC Driver's Licence is preferred. * English is required. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong asset.
