This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment while making a tangible impact on safety and security. *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks, including mechanical and electronic locking systems. * Assess security needs of clients and recommend appropriate locking solutions. * Conduct lockouts for clients who are locked out of their premises or vehicles. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to locks, keys, safes, and access control systems efficiently. * Program and configure electronic security devices such as key card systems or biometric locks. * Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system configurations. * Collaborate with clients to ensure proper functioning of security hardware and provide guidance on lock maintenance. *Skills* * Proven experience working with mechanical locks, electronic access control systems, and safes. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. * Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail when installing or repairing hardware. * Knowledge of security standards, building codes, and safety regulations relevant to locksmith work. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer instructions. * Good communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly to clients. * Valid locksmith license or certification where required by law; additional certifications in electronic security are a plus.
