Aunt Lucy's Doggy Daycare & Pet Hotel is a cozy, home-based facility set on 5 peaceful acres in Abbotsford, BC. We're looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our small team and give our four legged guests the attentive, gentle care they need and deserve. If you take pride in your craft, read a dog's mood before you pick up the clippers, and genuinely enjoy the animals in your care, you'll fit right in here! What you'll do: - Perform full grooming services: bathing, brushing, drying, nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and breed appropriate or custom cuts - Tailor each groom to the individual dog's needs, coat, personality, and comfort level - Handle dogs calmly and safely, keeping their wellbeing first at every step - Keep your grooming area clean, sanitary, and well organized - Watch for and flag any skin, coat, or health concerns to owners - Build warm, trusting relationships with our clients and their pets What we're looking for: - Prior professional grooming experience, comfortable handling full grooms and a range of breeds and coat types independently - Confident, patient handling of dogs of all sizes and temperaments - A gentle, attentive approach that puts each dog's comfort first - Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done - A team player who's friendly with clients and easy to work alongside - Grooming certification is a plus, but your skill and the way you treat animals matter most What we offer: - From $20/hour, plus tips - Benefits - Full-time or part-time, we'll build a schedule that works - A calm, home based environment on 5 acres - A supportive team that shares your love of dogs - A steady stream of happy, regular clients We'd love to meet you.
