Our mission is to provide cost-effective, environmentally friendly office solutions. *Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our commercial furniture manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, sewing, and assembling fabric, vinyl, leather, and other textile components used in the production of commercial furniture. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and experience operating industrial sewing equipment to ensure high-quality finished products that meet customer specifications and production standards. Key Responsibilities · Measure, cut, and sew upholstery materials for commercial furniture products. · Interpret work orders, patterns, drawings, and production specifications. · Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment safely and efficiently. · Match patterns, fabrics, and materials to ensure consistency and quality. · Inspect materials and finished components for defects and quality compliance. · Create and modify patterns as required for custom projects. · Assemble sewn components for upholstery installation. · Maintain an organized work area and ensure proper handling of materials. · Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to meet production schedules. · Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times. *Qualifications* Required: · Minimum 2 years of Upholstering or industrial sewing experience. · Experience working with heavy fabrics, vinyl, leather, or upholstery materials. · Ability to read and interpret patterns, measurements, and production documents. · Proficiency operating industrial sewing machines. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. *Skills and Competencies* · Industrial sewing and Upholsterering · Pattern reading and material cutting · Quality inspection and control · Time management and teamwork Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Work Location: In person Location Mississauga , ON Work location On site Salary $ 20.00 to $ 24.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10222200999 Various locations Mississauga, ON
