Job Description Job Description Position Details: • Permanent, Full-time. • Salaried • On-Site • Schedule: Monday to Friday. • Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Location: Royal Windsor Dr. Mississauga Summary: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications from concept to deployment. In this on-site role in Oakville, you will build responsive frontend interfaces, maintain backend architectures, integrate APIs, and thrive in a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment. The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: • End-to-End Development: Build, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications from architectural design through production release. • API Design & Integration: Design, implement, and integrate robust RESTful APIs and modern RPC protocols (gRPC) for seamless communication. • Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to OOP and functional design best practices. • Performance & Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for high responsiveness, low latency, scalability, and security. • Testing & Automated CI/CD: Participate in peer code reviews, write unit tests, and expand automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines. • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, hardware teams, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions. • Documentation & Modernization: Maintain clear technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies to continuously upgrade core systems. Requirements / Qualifications: Academic Training: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a strong programming component (or equivalent practical experience). Work & Technical Experience: • 5+ years of full-time commercial software development experience, including hands-on full-stack (front-end and back-end) work. • Front-End Stack: Angular, React, HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery. • Back-End Stack: Django (Python), Node.js, Go. • Databases: PostgreSQL relational database design, query optimization, and management. • APIs & Messaging: RESTful API design & integration, gRPC protocols. • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS services, Docker containerization, Git (Kubernetes is a plus). • DevOps & Environments: Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, unit/automated testing. • Systems & OS: Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating environments. • AI Developer Tools: Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, VS Code, Cursor). • Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), functional design, and eagerne Location Mississauga , ON Work location On site Salary $ 119,525.13 YEAR annually Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source ZipRecruiter #558e4fe4 Various locations Mississauga, ON
