*Mechanical Design Engineer* *About the Position:* Sync Robotics Inc. is seeking a talented and creative person to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia. We are looking for someone who gets excited about mechanical design, solving problems, and building new things. The ideal applicant would be someone with 5-10 years of hands-on experience designing and building machinery. Exact responsibilities of this position will vary based on candidate experience & background. *Key job responsibilities:* * Create mechanical solutions to solve a wide variety of process and manufacturing challenges * Design unique robot tools, fixtures, conveyors, structures, and mechanisms * Utilize servos, pneumatics, belt drives, linear bearings, and other automation components. * Build, test, break, improve, and rebuild custom prototypes * Produce component, assembly, and system CAD models and drawing packages *Who We Are*: At Sync Robotics we design and deploy custom automated systems for manufacturing customers across Western Canada. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
