Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Work setting: On-site customer service. Tasks: Install and test piping systems. Install and test water well pumps, piping systems and equipment. Maintain and repair piping systems. Maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems and equipment. Install well screens, casings and other well fixtures. Perform routine maintenance work on water well drilling rigs and equipment. Perform pumping tests to assess well performance. Review client requirements and proposed locations for water wells. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Mobile water well drilling rigs. Well casings. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
