*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Note: This position is only available for local hires (PR or Citizen) * * * Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. * Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders and payments. * Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. * Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment. * Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation. * Provide assistance to customers as needed, answering questions about menu items and specials. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. * This position will also include heavy lifting for up to 50 pounds * * * Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. * Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A team player who is willing to help others and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
